  • The 178'-0" cantilevered lobby (The Endless Bridge) is the longest cantilever of occupied space known to exist
  • The Bridge has capacity for approximately 1,650 people to view the Mississsippi River from thirty-five feet above the ground
  • To support the indended loads on the bridge, the structure must resist approximately 15 million pounds of overturning forces!!

 

Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park; Alpharetta, GA

  • Opened in May of 2008 with a performance by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
  • Provides seating for an audience of 12,000
  • Features a fan-shaped, upward-curving roof of translucent fabric suspended over a steel-framed structural system made up of large box-truss girders and columns set 60 feet (18 meters) above the seating area.
