  • Eleven stories, and includes 350,000 SF of office space
  • Parking will occupy a total of 8 levels, 5 levels above ground and 3 below ground
  • An enclosed walkway will connect to the existing building
  • Ready for occupancy in 2012
  • UnitedHealth plans to pursue a gold-level LEED certification for the building

Target Corporation North Campus Building D; Brooklyn Park, MN

  • A new four-story, 260,000 SF corporate office building
  • All floors of Building D are linked by a central 4-story atrium and gathering space
  • A centralized conference center where the building wraps the atrium
  • The ground floor consists of a central entrance lobby with a coffee shop, one wing of executive parking, and general office areas
  • Floors 2 through 4 consist of open office workplace, with 5 to 10 private offices per floor and centralized enclosed conferencing hubs
  • Opened in 2006

Life Time Fitness Corporate Office Building; Chanhassen, MN

  • A new 105,000 SF, three-story corporate office building
  • Underground parking located below
  • Showcasing six state of the art conference rooms and a 3-story atrium with a "floating" board room
  • Includes a large Data Center with a redundant uninterruptible power infrastructure and custum designed cooling distribution
  • During the winter, waste heat from the cooling units for the Data Center is used to provide heat for the underground parking garage
  • Opened in 2008

Hellmuth and Johnson Law Offices; Edina, MN

  • A 35,000 SF office building on a tight 2.4 acre parcel of land fronting I-494
  • Three stories of above-ground parking
  • Topped by two stories of legal offices
  • The high water table on the lot prohibited excavation for underground parking
  • The structure is built entirely upon pilings and grade beams
  • The project had to pass a rigorous review by the Nine Mile Creek Watershed District, and also needed to obtain a height variance from Edina city officials because of the unusual parking setup

AT&T Tower; Minneapolis, MN

  • A 464-ft tall skyscraper in downtown Minneapolis
  • 33 stories of office space with three levels of heated underground parking
  • Skyways connect the building to the TCF Tower and International Center
  • The main floor lobby is shared with the Oracle Center.
  • The first and second floors contain restaurants and numerous small shops.

Lawson Building and Ramp; St. Paul, MN

  • A new 450,000 SF office building
  • A seven level, 1,000 car parking ramp
  • The parking ramp is 375,000 SF and was constructed of post tension concrete, consisting of two levels below grade and five levels above grade with retail at the ground level.

Ameriprise Operation Center; Minneapolis, MN

  • Formally known as the I.D.S. Operations Center
  • This 6 story building covers an entire city block
  • Houses a computer center, IT staff, and business operations
  • Built as a building within a building (The inner building has large steel plates that can drop down over the windows in the event of a tornado or other issue)
  • There are 4 railroad locomotive engines on the roof for backup power, with 2 running at any given time.
  • There is a huge diesel tank under the building to supply fuel to the generators.
  • Features a cylindrical glass entry atrium

The Piper Jaffray Tower; Minneapolis, MN - currently US Bank Corp Building

  • This two tower composite steel structure has adjoining 14 and 33 story elements.
  • The 11th, 12th and 13th levels serve as trading floors for stock market transactions, while the bulk of the building’s remaining 1,200,000 SF functions as office space
  • A unique feature of these trading floors is that they all have a column free space of 110’ X 110’ each.
  • Post-tensioned concrete was utilized for the three levels of underground parking.
